Full Product Description

A slicker brush is a go-to tool for lifting loose fur and light tangles. This PerriPaws version adds a push-button release, so clearing the pins takes a second instead of a fingertip tug-of-war.

Why Pet Parents Love It

  • Push-button release: Press the button and collected fur slides off the pins.
  • Rounded-tip steel pins: Angled pins with rounded ends for everyday brushing.
  • Easy-grip handle: Textured handle with a hanging hole.
  • Dogs and cats: Suitable for many coat types.

How to Use

  1. Brush gently with the direction of the coat.
  2. Press the button to release the fur.
  3. Wipe the hair away and continue.

PerriPaws vs Others

Angled pins, rounded ends.

Set at an angle so they travel through the coat, and rounded at the tip so they are not digging at the skin on the way.

Why It Works

Loose fur and light tangles, in the same pass.

Angled steel pins with rounded ends lift what is already coming out of the coat. When they fill, the button clears them, so the brushing does not stop while you pick fur out by hand.

  • Angled stainless steel pins with rounded tips
  • Lifts loose fur and works through light tangles
  • Push-button release clears the pins in a second
  • Textured grip with a hanging hole
  • Three colors: Gray, Blue or Pink
  • For dogs and cats, across many coat types

Every point above comes from this product's own specification.

How to Use

How to use it.

1

Work in sections

On a long or thick coat, lift the topcoat and work the fine pins underneath in sections rather than skating over the surface.

2

Clear it often

Fine pins fill fast. Press the release whenever the bed looks loaded. A packed head stops reaching the undercoat.

3

Wash it thoroughly

The manufacturer's own note is to clean it thoroughly after use and store it somewhere dry. Check for a bent pin while you do. One bent pin drags.

Ready when you are.

Care & Cleaning

How to keep it in good order, as the manufacturer states it.

After each session

Press the release and peel the mat of fur away while it is dry.

Washing

Warm soapy water. The manufacturer's own note is to clean it thoroughly after use and store it somewhere dry, fine pins packed with fur stop reaching the undercoat.

Drying

Pins down on a towel, and give it time before it goes in a drawer.

Watch for

A bent pin. On a fine-tooth head one bent pin drags, and it is worth straightening or retiring the brush.
