How to use it.

Wide side first

Use the wider-set row to break into a mat from the outside edge inward. Never drive it straight down at the skin.

Then the close row

Turn it over and use the closer row to pull the loosened undercoat out. Short strokes, and stop if the skin starts to look pink.

3

Clear and dry

Pull the caught fur off away from you. These are sharpened edges. Rinse, dry immediately, and store it out of reach.

Care & Cleaning

How to keep it in good order, as the manufacturer states it.

After each session

Pull the caught fur off the blades by hand, with the comb facing away from you, because the blades are sharpened on one edge.

Washing

Rinse under warm water and dry immediately. The teeth are rust-resistant stainless, but water left sitting in the join between blade and handle will still leave a mark.

Do not

Put it in a dishwasher. The TPR handle and the heat do not agree.

Storage

Somewhere the blades are not pressed against anything, and out of reach. These are cutting edges, not brush pins.
