Full Product Description

Puzzle toys give your pet a job to do. Hide treats or kibble under the sliding pieces, flaps and compartments of the PerriPaws Interactive Dog Puzzle Toy and let your dog sniff, nudge and paw their way to the reward.

Why Pet Parents Love It

  • Treat-hiding compartments: Sliders, flaps and moving pieces hide food.
  • Brain-game play: Encourages sniffing, pawing and problem-solving.
  • Slower treat time: Pets work for each bite instead of gulping.
  • Non-slip base: Helps the board stay put during play.
  • For all sizes: Suitable for dogs and cats.

Five Designs

Each color is a different puzzle layout, including a bone-slider puzzle, a sliding-block puzzle and a spinning-wheel puzzle. Check the product photos for the design that matches each color before ordering.

  2. Let your pet find it, then gradually hide treats in harder spots.
  3. Put the puzzle away after each session.

Safety Note

Always supervise. Puzzle toys are not chew toys, and small pieces should be checked regularly. Remove the toy if any part becomes damaged.

Product in Action

See it working.

Hide a treat, let them find it, then make it harder. Start with an easy well and work up, a puzzle that is too hard on the first go just gets abandoned. It is solid PP with no electronics, so the whole thing washes when they are done with it.

Construction

Look closer at the board.

A flat PP plastic board with sliding pieces, lift-off caps and a turning dial over shallow treat wells, on a non-slip base.

  • Close-up of the bone-shaped sliders and paw-print caps

    Sliders and caps

Pieces that push aside and caps that lift off, each hiding a well underneath. Two different actions to learn on one board.

  • Close-up of the turning dial at the centre of the board

    The center dial

A turning piece in the middle, which most dogs solve last because it needs a nose rather than a paw.

  • Close-up of the paw-print caps covering the treat wells

    Covered wells

Paw-print caps sit over shallow compartments, so a treat is hidden but the smell still gets out.

PerriPaws vs Others

Slower, and more interesting.

A slow feeder makes a meal take longer. A puzzle makes it take thinking. Some days a dog needs the second one.

Why It Works

A job to do.

Hide a few pieces of kibble under the sliders and caps and a thirty-second snack becomes ten minutes of sniffing, nudging and thinking. The food is the same; the effort is the point.

How to Use

How to use it.

1

Show them the treat

Let your dog watch you drop a treat into an open well. The first round should be almost too easy.

2

Make it harder

Once they have the idea, start covering wells and using the sliders. A puzzle pitched too hard on the first go simply gets abandoned.

3

Put it away

This is a puzzle, not a chew toy. Supervise, then wash it and put it away. It stays interesting if it is not permanently on the floor.

Ready when you are.

Care & Cleaning

How to keep it in good order, as the manufacturer states it.

After each session

Tip the crumbs out and wipe it down. Kibble dust left in the wells goes stale and turns a puzzle your dog loves into one they will not touch.

Washing

It is solid PP with no electronics, so it washes properly. The manufacturer shows it fully submerged and sitting in a dishwasher basket. Warm soapy water and a brush into the wells works just as well.

Drying

Dry it completely before the next session, including under the sliders, so the pieces keep moving freely.

Check before play

Look over the sliders and covers for cracks or chew marks. This is a puzzle, not a chew toy. Once a piece is damaged it comes out of rotation.
