An oval nest big enough for a person, a large dog, or both. The PerriPaws Human-Size Dog Bed is a bolstered plush lounger with a cover that unzips completely and goes in the machine, which is the part most oversized floor beds get wrong.

Honest Note on the Filling
This is a polyester fibre bed, not memory foam. It is soft and it lofts, and it will compress under you the way a thick duvet does rather than holding a fixed shape. If you specifically want orthopaedic memory foam support, this is not that product and we would rather say so now.

Big enough to mean it.
Plenty of beds are sold as extra large. Two of these sizes are longer than most sofas. Measure the floor first.

Washing the cover
Unzip it all the way round and take the filling out first, the whole point of the zipper. The manufacturer states the polyester cover is machine washable; use a cool gentle cycle and a mild detergent.
Drying
Air dry the cover. A tumble dryer on heat will shrink it enough that getting it back over the filling becomes a fight.
The filling
Do not wash the insert. Air it outdoors and beat it to bring the loft back.
Reassembly
Put the filling back while the cover is bone dry, working the ends into the bolster first and the middle last.
The base
Wipe the epoxy-coated underside with a damp cloth. Do not scrub it with anything abrasive, that coating is what makes it non-slip.
