PerriPaws vs Others

One press and it's empty.

A slicker brush that clears itself. The fur comes off in one piece instead of being teased out of the pins.

Why It Works

The brushing is easy. It's the cleaning that isn't.

Fine pins pick the loose fur up, and one press of the button pushes the whole lot back off again, so you are not picking it out by hand.

  • Press the button and the collected fur lifts off in one piece
  • Fine ball-tipped pins for routine brushing
  • Textured handle with a hanging hole
  • An everyday brush for dogs and cats
  • Three colors to choose from
  • Nothing to pull out of the pins by hand

Every point above comes from this product's own specification.

How to Use

How to use it.

1

Brush the coat

Work with the direction of hair growth in short strokes until the pin bed starts to fill.

2

Press the button

One press retracts the whole pin bed and pushes the fur clear. Do it while the fur is dry. It lifts off in one piece then.

3

Rinse the head

Warm soapy water, working the button a few times while wet so the mechanism clears. Dry it pins-down on a towel.

Ready when you are.

Care & Cleaning

How to keep it in good order, as the manufacturer states it.

After each session

Press the button and lift the mat of fur straight off the retracted pins. Do it while the fur is dry. It comes away in one piece then, and in shreds once it is damp.

Washing

Warm soapy water and a rinse. Work the button a few times while it is wet so the mechanism clears, then shake it out.

Drying

Pins down on a towel so water runs out of the head rather than sitting inside the retraction slot.

Watch for

Bent pins. A pin bent sideways will scratch. Straighten it or retire the brush.
